The Management of Kadgis received a delegation from the Plateau State Ministry of Lands, Survey and Town Planning on a courtesy and familiarization visit to the Service. The delegation which was led by the Commissioner, Barr. Peter Nyam Gai were received by the Director General of KADGIS, Dr. Bashir Garba Ibrahim.
In his remarks during the visit, the Plateau State Commissioner, Barr. Peter Nyam Gai lauded the leadership of KADGIS for the warm reception and the present administration of Kaduna State for the commendable achievements in the state.
While speaking shortly after touring the service to see how various land transactions procedures are being done in KADGIS, Gai stressed that, what they have witnessed in KADGIS is an eye-opener for them.
On his own part, the Director General of KADGIS, Dr. Bashir Garba Ibrahim while addressing the delegation, appreciated them for the visit and assured them of KADGIS support whenever the need may arise, in the course of carrying out their responsibilities.
This visit by Plateau State adds to the number of other states that have visited the service on a similar mission. This is a testament of the laudable land administration policies and achievements attained by the Governor Uba Sani’s administration because of the new innovations introduced, to improve service delivery and ease land acquisition procedures as well as other proactive measures, to minimize land disputes and resolve those inherited from the past.
With the Service being spearheaded by the DG, Dr. Bashir, a vibrant leader just like the Governor, who has strong passion for excellence, capacity building, providing clear directions that keeps inspiring everyone in the service to put in their best, work hard and work together for effective and efficient service delivery to the good people of the state. Thus, an attraction for many states to visit and learn from.
