A critical stakeholders meeting was convened 8th December 2025 over the Ribako Forest reserve in Igabi LGA now dereserved to pave way for the establishment of a Federal Government poultry project in collaboration with Chinese Investors.
Kaduna State Governor Senator Uba Sani is currently in China to advance the final talks on the project which is worth 200 million dollars and is expected to become the largest in West Africa,projected to generate 450 million dollars annually,create over 350,000 thousand jobs and significantly boost food production.
It was resolved that the affected farmers will be assessed and given farmlands on lease on a yearly basis before the next farming season as work by the investors is set to commence soon
The locals were also assured of providing manpower to the Company as well as a firm commitment for Corporate Social Responsibility to be carried out by the Investors.
