Sequel to the meeting with Stakeholders over Ribako Forest reserve now dereserved where the Federal Government poultry project will be sited, another meeting was convened 15th Dec 2025 with traditional rulers from the area and Chairman of Igabi LGA Hon Sani Abdul Zangon Aya to further discuss on the project.
The discussion centred on relocating farmers who carry out farming on the site to an alternative site so as to continue with their farming activities and be given allocation before the next farming season.
The Stakeholders gave assurance of cooperation with the Federal and State Government as well as the investors over this gigantic project which will be of enormous economic benefit to the State and the local communities as well as provide the locals with jobs on the construction site.
Already the investors are set to begin work once all gray areas have been fully identified and finally resolved as construction is expected to start before the year runs out.
