The Nigeria Union of Journalists Kaduna State Chapter today presented an award of Excellence in Public Service and Land Administration to the Director General of KADGIS Dr. Bashir Garba Ibrahim in recognition of his exceptional acumen and transformative drive in land administration in Kaduna State.
Presenting the award, The NUJ Chairman Kaduna State Chapter Comrade Abdulgaffar Alabelewe who led other executives of the Union at the presentation, extolled the DG for his pragmatic approach to land related disputes within the State and the swiftness with which such cases are resolved.
Other Executives of the Union took turns to commend KADGIS under the leadership of Dr Bashir Garba on the giant strides made in bringing about innovations and efficiency in the activities of the Service.
The DG expressed gratitude to NUJ for finding him and KADGIS worthy of such recognition and clearly stated how proud he is of the award.
The award and recognition of exceptional Public service comes at a no better time than now, when The Service is deeply committed to revolutionizing Land Administration for better and efficient service delivery as well as bringing to a minimum land dispute with over 1300 cases resolved since assumption of office of the Director General.
