
As part of ongoing efforts to resolve land issue with the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency a meeting was convened 8th January at KADGIS to make an offer to the agency and to finalize the issue of compensation.
The leader of NAMA delegation Alh Aliyu Ibrahim Director Corporate Services of the Agency who thanked KADGIS for its unwavering support to NAMA expressed confidence in the ability of the State Governor Senator Uba Sani to do justice over the revocation of NAMA’s land by the previous administration.
He also prayed for a lasting solution to the issue which will favour the Agency despite the case being under litigation.
In his remarks DG KADGIS Dr Bashir Garba Ibrahim assured the delagation of fairness over the compensation being proposed.
He said the State Government is willing to give back some portion of the revoked land as well as a new allocation in Millennium City were Some Federal Agencies have land allocations to site NAMA office.
In addition plots will be given for commercial purpose and to be titled.
KADGIS will also beacon and title the said lands to avoid future encroachment.
The DG advised for case to be withdrawn from court to allow for speedy resolution as the State Government is willing to settle out of court and offer a fair settlement.
The NAMA delegation described the meeting as fruitful as all concerns have been addressed with adequate compensation offered.
