Some community members from Gadani in Rigachikun District, Igabi LGA attended a stakeholder meeting over their lands with a view to resolving dispute with Sobawa and to seek for more information over the layout plan created in the area and beyond.
The DG KADGIS Dr Bashir Garba Ibrahim took his time to explain to them how the entire area has been designated as part of the Eastern Sector and the plans being taken for regularisation of the settlements and compensation.
He added that a perimeter survey will be carried out immediately followed by general assessments of all houses to be followed by plots with a public display to be mounted at the end of the exercise to ensure all have been captured accurately.
The DG assured them of fairness during the exercise and the situation will be a win win for all parties.
