
The new Head of Investigation of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission( EFCC) Kaduna Zonal Office Mr. Paul Okoli today led some Staff of the Commission on a familiarization visit to KADGIS to strengthen existing cordial relationship between the two Organizations’.
While describing KADGIS as an important stakeholder in the fight against financial crimes Mr. Okoli stressed on the need for synergy and effective collaboration in solving property related cases .
He said Kaduna State needs to minimize such cases to make the state attractive to investors and to safe guard their investments against the activities of fraudsters.
He described the deliberations as fruitful while commending KADGIS for the warm welcome and promptness in response to enquiries.
The DG KADGIS Dr. Bashir Garba Ibrahim described the visit by the EFCC team as an honor and committed to improved synergy for best results during investigations.
He called for more collaboration to checkmate the activities of fraudsters, land grabbers and owners of defective DLA’s.
Dr. Bashir who described the visit as timely also mentioned other possible areas of collaboration that will be of mutual benefit to all in the fight against property fraud.
