The Management of Kadgis led by the Director General, Dr. Bashir Garba Ibrahim, received on a courtesy visit, the members of the Nigerian Institute of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV) led by its Chairman ESV. Ambrose Chigozie Okofu.
In his address during the visit, the Chairman, emphasized on their readiness to support the service in fulfilling its mandates of administration and regulation of land transactions in the state.
In his response, the Director General, Dr Bashir appreciated the NIESV for the visit, stressing that it’s timely as KADGIS is currently working to ensure that all its stakeholders are fully involved to provide proper coordination and the desired service delivery in the implementation of all land-related policies, laws and regulations across the state, of which the NIESV is one of the key Stakeholders.
He then commended them for their willingness to support the service in achieving its mandates, noting that good land administration practices contribute in promoting economic growth there by reducing poverty which is among the priorities of the Governor, Senator Uba Sani led administration and with the support of bodies like the NIESV, good land administration can be fully achieved in the state.
