GOVERNOR UBA SANI APPROVES LAND COMPENSATION FOR SOME RESIDENTS OF RAMIN KWATA IN KABALA COSTAIN ON COMPASSIONATE GROUNDS
Plot owners holding customary titles in Ramin Kwata, Kabala Costain, were today presented with offer letters for new plots in Millennium City as compensation for their previous holdings.
The affected plots were originally acquired many years ago without due process, as the land in question is government-owned.
However, in the spirit of fairness and magnanimity, the Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, approved compensation for the affected individuals.
While making the presentation, the Director General of KADGIS, Dr. Bashir Garba Ibrahim, cautioned residents against engaging in unverified and dubious land transactions, particularly in urban centres. He emphasized that not all cases may receive such consideration and advised prospective land buyers to always verify the status of any property before purchase to avoid future disputes.
In their separate remarks, some of the beneficiaries expressed deep appreciation to the Kaduna State Governor for his generosity and to KADGIS for facilitating the process. They also offered prayers for the continued success of the current administration.
