It was a historic moment today at KADGIS as a land dispute of over 10 years (2014-date) was resolved to the satisfaction of all the contending parties .
The dispute involves multiple Government agencies and private investors over land allocation with established case of encroachment and allocation made in error along the Eastern bye-pass which led to a lengthy court case with judgement yet to be given.
But through sheer determination and a quest for justice and fairness,The Kaduna State Governor Senator Uba Sani charged KADGIS to strive for an out of court settlement and that is what was achieved today with all parties agreeing to the proposals made,and it was a win win situation with smiles from all sides and a resounding ovation for the ever astute DG Dr Bashir Garba Ibrahim for his immense strive for a resolution .
It has been agreed upon to withdraw the case from court and new titles will be given as soon as all details have been completed.
