
In line with His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani’s commitment to resolve all land disputes and encourage private sector investment, Kadgis has again taken a significant bold step to resolve the long-standing disputes between the KDSG and Messers Fifth Chukker Limited.
In a meeting held under the able leadership of the Director General KADGIS, Dr Bashir Garba Ibrahim with the State’s Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice Sule Shuaibu SAN, the Chairman and CEO of Fifth Chukker Limited, Adamu Attah, KADGIS and Fifth Chukker Management staff in attendance, the parties amicably resolved to settle the matter out of court in view of the investor’s commitment and choice of Kaduna State as primary constituency for its investment, and His Excellency, the Governor’s tireless efforts and determination in making the State as investor friendly and to sustain its ranking on the Ease of Doing Business Index in Nigeria.
Consequently, the State Government has, through KADGIS agreed to commence the processes towards reinstatement of the revoked titles held by Fifth Chukker Limited, while the investor has commit to abide by all terms and conditions contingent upon the restitution .
The Chairman Fifth Chukker Limited lauded the transparent and professional disposition of KADGIS as demonstrated by the Director General, and he urged for consistent support and cooperation of all staff and management of the Service to enable efficient delivery of its mandate.
