The week begins with a stakeholders engagement meeting with community members and traditional title holders with other stakeholders from Kujama district in Chikun LGA over land allocated to The Federal Housing Authority in Lokotoko,Damishi and Gadani for mass housing.
The meeting which held on 22nd September 2025 resolved to carry out an assessment of all lands affected within the shortest time with a view to commencement of the 30% compensation as stipulated by the law.
The DG urged those affected to exercise patience and restraint as all is being done to ensure that no one is left behind and called on them to report any case of misconduct or ommission during the assessment exercise and the compensation process.
The representatives from Federal Housing Authority expressed gratitude to the affected communities over the cooperation given to them and promised that work is to begin within a short period and the locals also stand to benefit from the project.
