The Stakeholder meeting for 
22nd April 2026 hosted the community of Gujeni in Kagarko LGA with their traditional leaders to discuss the issue of compensation and resettlement of farmers whose farmlands were affected in allocation to investors.
The DG gave assurance of fast tracking all compensation and resettlement to enable farmers to engage in farming activities in the forthcoming farming season.
The second meeting is also about compensation to land owners who were affected by the Urban Shelter Phase 2 project with assessment to commence immediately.
The resolution of this issue will enable the developers to completely access the site and commence development which is expected to be a boost to the housing sector in Kaduna State.
