At the end of the working week, several stakeholder meetings were held with different claimants over different land related disputes.
The meetings preside over by the Director Land Services Abdullahi Tukur started with the first case over a property at Makera Kakuri new extension with both parties claiming ownership and the case in court for over ten years.The parties were advised to withdraw case from court as this will give chance for an amicable resolution.
Second meeting involved a developer Desert Green with a customary title holder and which involves monetary compensation between the two parties
The third meeting involves a revoked property in Gidan Daji TPO 833C Millennium City Kaduna,while the final meeting revolves around encroachment over piece of land around Turkish Dan bushiya Kaduna with a promise of compensation given to solve the issue.
It is hoped that these meetings will yield the needed result which is a plus for KADGIS and all parties involved.
