Stakeholder meeting featured an investor who was given a Development Lease Agreement (DLA) with concerns about taking full possession while the issue of compensation for locals has not been concluded.The investor gave assurance of complying fully with any decision reached by KADGIS in that regards as well as making some concessions on his part to enable him make meaningful progress on his development.
The second meeting was about issue of encroachment which KADGIS committed to resolving once all facts have been presented with officials from KASUPDA also present at the meeting.
The meetings were presided over by the Director Land Service Abdullahi Tukur in the absence of the DG who was away on an official assignment.
